Providential Insurance Group was born from personal tragedy—but also from faith, hope, and ultimately, triumph.

Our founder, Malinda’s journey is one marked by unimaginable loss, from that, she was inspired to help others be prepared for life’s unexpected turns. After losing her father suddenly—without life insurance—she was forced to take out a loan at just 24 years old to give him a proper burial. That experience planted the seed for what would later become her mission.

Years later, she married and became a mother to two young children. A friend suggested she consider life insurance—a recommendation that proved life-changing. Just seven months into the marriage, her husband died tragically in a motorcycle accident the day after his birthday.

In the wake of that heartbreak, the life insurance policy they had purchased provided critical financial support—helping to cover living expenses and the needs of their children during a time of deep emotional pain. But the losses didn’t stop there. In the years that followed, she and her family lost her only sister and another dear family member within a year.

Through it all, she leaned on her faith in God and experienced firsthand the importance of being prepared for the unthinkable. She founded Providential Insurance Group with one purpose: to help families protect their financial future, build a lasting legacy, and find peace of mind—no matter what life brings.
